February 23rd Reaching our MAX

The "Little Guys"  Or better termed the skill guys, maxing on squat.  We made some great improvements with these little guys :)

 Watching, encouraging, being a team.

Concentration...............

February 22nd...More Jaren

More photos of Jaren's last game.  I know, it's cheating, but, again, I have a lot of game pics!!

February 21st: Jaren...again

Jaren had Century's number...again, he scored 21 points against them in this game, the last one I will see this year.

February 20th...I know, I know, I am predictable, but these Weight Room Pics are a big deal to my players!! And they are fun to photograph

 Gotta love the face......
The athlete who is lifting the weight above was unable to practice/play for an entire year due to a repaired ACL that had to be modified, then got an infection and they had to open his incision and keep him in the hospital.  2 major setbacks, but he is doing well, and stopped by 2 weeks ago to thank me for helping him get back to "normal".  It's those success stories that make my job so much fun.
 Another beautiful face!!

February 19th...Sunday Funday, 2nd Edition

The Face of Hard Work!!!  The photos here are a little "pixely" but the point of them is off season hard work and hopefully we will have some great In Season celebrations next year

February 18th...Another visit from my favorite little guy

It's difficult to get a photo of him without the CHEESE!!  He likes to climb my steps...over and over and over

February 17th....The look of hard work

Kooper was power cleaning and I snapped in time to see the weight dropping...we all thought it looked pretty cool because the weight was just hanging there while he looked at it.
I love this picture...mostly because the athlete, and the coach in the background are both from Napoleon so have known each other for a long time, and now Mike is coaching him.  The facial expressions of both are also priceless
My Favorite photo of the day!!  The angle and the reflection of the light...I just like it.

February 16th: Sunrise

This was the view when I got to work today!  A beautiful morning.

February 15th...My Golden Sandbag gets ready for Mardi Gras

February 13th and 14th This is cheating, but I have a lot of photos from this game

Jaren....basketball game against St. Mary's.  The picture above was taken when he was taken out of the game to be told to hustle and work harder!  His coach handled it well, and, has figured out that Jaren works harder when he is mad, so, he made him mad!!  I think it's a cool photo.

He made this one!!  He's been playing really well.

February 12: Sunday Funday Marauder Conditioning

One of our new drills....getting in a plank position and dragging a 45 lb weight across the floor!

February 11th Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers: Tanner Holte

Had the pleasure of watching my nephew, Tanner Holte, play in the District Championship against Berthold.  He didn't have a great game that night, but did end the season with over 500 points, as a sophomore.  He has a bright career in front of him!!

February 10th Marauder Wrestling

The darkness during the Wrestling Duals make it difficult to photograph without a big flash, which would be a distraction...but these are ok!

February 9th: Beautiful Early Morning Full Moon

Early morning conditioning practice has me driving to work at 6:30 AM...this was the view today!

More Marauder Weight room workouts.  Our team is getting ready to "max out" so the intensity has gotten pretty high.

February 8th : Demon Basketball, Jaren and Noah

Same game from February 7th, yes, cheating again, but I decided since I take so many pictures, if I miss a day here and there, I can make up for it.  Above is Noah, Jaren's friend, below, Jaren bringing the ball out from a rebound.

February 7th...Jaren...more Demon Basketball

A little grainy, due to using 800 speed, but in the BHS gym, the photo will get too dark if I go to 400.  I have been reading some photo books, etc. and they told me to do this.

Once again, I love the face in this photo.

February 6th...I know, I took a lot of photos of this guy

Winding Down...getting ready to put pajamas on, but not without a little entertainment first.  He took his socks off to show me the "FUZZIES" in his toes.  Apparently he is very obsessive about this.  I love the faces in these photos.  Unfortunately, his mom and dad came shortly after these were taken and took him home...

February 5th: The BOSU Ball

One of my favorite photos of the year...so far!  He tried 3 times to get on this BOSU ball, once he got on it, stood on it and watched Football on ESPN.  I have collegiate athletes who have trouble with this.  :)

February 4th...More Brooksy

He loves the kitties...and Tommy, is very patient with him.  Even when Brooks was really little, Tommy would sit and let him clobber him.
Playing "Panno" with Jaren.  Oh, he likes the piano....

February 3rd...Brooks comes to visit

I'm going to cheat again...the next few days are going to be photos from this day as I took quite a few of Brooks.  He moves all the time, so the trick is to get a photo that isn't blurry.  He is 19 months old in these photos...has turned into a little boy already!  It was Kasey's birthday, so we got to take care of him while Kasey and Taylor went out for dinner.  He ate dinner with Kyler...
That little boy face, just melts my heart.
Showing me where Kyler is.  He doesn't see us very often, but he remembers everyone and calls them by name.
